Having recently acquired a subsidiary in Belgium - Equals Money Europe - the Group are focussed on bringing our suite of products to Europe and are now looking for an Onboarding and KYC Specialist to join our team.


With our headquarters in London and Brussels and teams in Chester, Amsterdam and Los Angeles, the Equals Group operates a portfolio of successful and exciting business lines and brands - Equals Money, FairFX and CardOneMoney in the UK and now Equals Money Europe in Belgium. About the Role


The Payment Operations Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring our product runs smoothly for our customers and our operational processes are as efficient as possible. The individual must be comfortable in a technical environment and be quick to learn new systems and concepts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to solve complex problems. 

Regrettably we cannot offer this role to individuals who do not possess the legal right to reside and work in The Netherlands or Belgium.

Job requirements

Responsibilities

  • Investigation and resolution of transactional processing issues

  • Manage and optimize payment process flows internally or at partner banks

  • Liaise with internal teams and departments regarding data discrepancies or processes impacting transaction management within the organisation

  • Make recommendations to enhance existing payment systems and processes

  • Manage and execute daily reconciliations according to a documented procedure on various aspects of payments within the operations team

  • Assist in the development of client/internal self-help systems such as FAQ’s, User Manuals, and Technical Documentation

Essential Skill

  • Experience in banking/payments

  • Comfortable in a technical environment and quick to learn new systems/platforms

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage detailed processes

  • Tertiary qualification preferred


Where possible we offer the opportunity to work flexibly and the opportunity to balance some remote working with time in the office collaborating, taking part in events and developing the social connections that make working with us rewarding. For this role a minimum of 3 days in the office will be required with remote working offered for the remaining working days.
